Welcome to By Haleys, a UK-based, print-to-order wallpaper mural studio providing made-to-measure wall coverings.

These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and conditions for using our website and purchasing our wallpaper mural products. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these terms.

2. Ordering Process
2.1 Print-to-Order Production

All murals are produced specifically to your dimensions and order request. Once production begins, the order cannot be cancelled or changed.

2.2 Accuracy of Measurements

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all wall measurements supplied are accurate. We cannot provide refunds or replacements for murals produced using incorrect measurements.

2.3 Customisation

Where cropping, scaling, colour edits or other custom work is requested, we will seek written approval prior to printing. Approval constitutes acceptance of the design as provided.

3. Samples
  • Samples are provided for colour, texture, and material reference only. You will not see the full design/pattern repeat in the swatch.
  • There may be slight variation between sample colours and full-scale print due to differences in batch, scale, ambient lighting, or substrate characteristics.
4. Colour, Scale and Print Variation
4.1 Colour Variation

Colours may vary slightly between screens, samples and final prints. This is normal for print-to-order products, and not considered a defect.

4.2 Scale Variation

All artwork is scaled according to the wall dimensions provided. The customer is responsible for checking the supplied preview or visual before approving production.

4.3 Substrate Characteristics

Each substrate (uncoated matte, vinyl, grasscloth, etc.) has its own texture and print behaviour. Slight differences in colour depth or sharpness are expected.

Please note grasscloth is an organic material which may contain slubs, knots, and minor surface irregularities. These are expected and not considered faults.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices on our website are shown depending on your region and are inclusive/exclusive of VAT.
Payment is taken at the time of order. We reserve the right to update prices without notice, but this will not affect orders already placed.

6. Production & Lead Times
6.1 Standard Lead Time

Our murals are produced to order. Lead times may vary but are typically:

UK - 15 to 20 business days from approval to dispatch. (1 to 2 business days for samples)

EU - 15 to 20 business days from approval to dispatch. (3 to 5 business days for samples)

International - 20 to 25 business days from approval to dispatch. (5 to 10 business days for samples)

6.2 Seasonal Closures & Delays

Lead times may extend during holiday periods or due to unforeseen delays. These dates will be communicated where possible.

7. Shipping & Delivery
7.1 Shipping Responsibility

Once dispatched, your order is handled by our courier partners.

While we are not responsible for delays or damage caused in transit, we will support you in resolving any delivery issues. Please notify us of any damage within 48 hours so we can raise this with the courier and arrange a replacement where appropriate.

7.2 International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., DDP agreements).

8. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
8.1 Made-to-Order Policy

Because all murals are custom printed, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds unless the product is faulty.

8.2 Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your mural arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Provide photographs of the product, packaging, and labels.
  3. We will assess and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement at no cost.

We do not cover:

  • Damage caused during installation
  • Incorrect installation
  • Incorrect measurements provided by the customer
8.3 Installation Responsibility

We recommend installation by a professional decorator. We cannot be held responsible for installation errors, wall preparation issues, or damage caused by third-party installers.

9. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, text, and images on this website are the exclusive property of By Haleys Ltd. No part of our content may be copied, reproduced, resold, or used commercially without our written permission.

10. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to harm its functionality. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this site.
By placing an order, you consent to us using your information for the purpose of fulfilling your order and future communication where consent is given.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to your order will not exceed the value of the order itself.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or negligence.
13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
